Wildlife Welfare provides one-on-one training throughout the year and the Wildlife Rehabilitators of North Carolina (WRNC) http://www.ncwildliferehab.org/  holds a wildlife symposium in Raleigh around the end of January each year. This is a great for beginners as well as the experienced rehabbers.
